1. Product Introduction and Application Range
Cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables are a new type of power cable that can be widely used in high, medium, and low-voltage power transmission and transformation systems. They have advantages such as high operating temperature, small cable bending radius, light weight, convenient installation, and no drop restrictions, making them popular among users. This product is suitable for power lines with a rated voltage (U0/U) of 3.6/6~26/35kV for power transmission and distribution.
2. Product Standards and Usage Characteristics
The product is manufactured according to the Chinese national standard GB/T 12706-2020 for rated voltage 1kV (Um=1.2kV) to 35kV (Um=40.5kV) extruded insulated power cables and accessories, and the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC60502-2014.
The maximum operating temperature of the cable conductor is 90℃. During a short circuit (not exceeding 5s), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor does not exceed 250℃. The ambient temperature during cable laying should not be lower than 0℃.
