  • Product Introduction and Application Scope

    The product is a compact conductor (copper or aluminum) with extruded inner shielding and weather-resistant cross-linked polyethylene. It features a simple, safe, and reliable structure, along with excellent mechanical, physical, and electrical properties. It exhibits excellent resistance to electrical tracking, surface discharge, and weathering. Suitable for 1kV and 10kV overhead transmission lines in high-rise building clusters, tourism development zones, and areas with numerous trees.

    Product Standards and Usage Characteristics

    This product is manufactured according to GB/T12527-2008 and GB/T14949-2008.

    The cable's rated voltage is available in two types: 1kV and 10kV. The cable's long-term allowable operating temperature is 90℃ for cross-linked polyethylene insulation. During short circuits (maximum duration not exceeding 5s), the maximum temperature of the cable's cross-linked polyethylene insulation is 250℃. The cable laying temperature should not be lower than -20℃.

    1. Urban Power Distribution Network (mainly 10kV and below voltage levels):

    • Resolving tree-line conflicts: In streets and residential areas with dense trees, the insulation layer effectively prevents short circuits and tripping caused by tree branches touching the lines, improving power supply reliability.

    • Enhanced personal and equipment safety: The insulation layer reduces the risk of accidental contact with energized conductors by personnel (especially maintenance personnel and residents); reduces short circuits caused by foreign objects (such as kites, ribbons, birds and animals); and reduces corrosion of metal components (such as towers and crossarms).

    • Beautifying the urban environment: Compared to the structure of bare conductors with insulators, the appearance is more concise.

    2. Rural Power Grids:

    • Wind and bird damage prevention: Reduces phase-to-phase short circuits caused by conductor swaying due to strong winds; reduces short-circuit faults caused by bird activity.

    • Theft prevention: Compared to bare conductors, it is more difficult to steal electricity directly from insulated conductors.

    3. Special Environments:

    • Coastal and high-salt fog areas: The insulation layer provides additional protection, reducing the corrosion of salt fog on conductors and metal accessories.

    • Renovation of old lines: Often used to replace existing bare conductor lines, improving safety and reliability.

    Main Characteristics

    1. Insulation characteristics: This is the most core characteristic. The insulation layer wrapping the conductor provides electrical isolation between phases and ground, greatly reducing the probability of phase-to-phase and ground short circuits.

    2. Ultra-high power supply reliability: As described in the application, it can effectively reduce short-circuit faults caused by external factors such as trees, foreign objects, and birds and animals, significantly reducing the number and duration of fault outages.

    3. Enhanced safety: Reduces the risk of personnel accidentally touching energized conductors, reducing damage to the lines themselves, switching equipment, transformers, etc., caused by short-circuit faults; reduces the harm of short-circuit arcs to surrounding objects.

    4. Reduced corrosion: The insulation layer protects the conductor from direct erosion by atmospheric pollutants and reduces electrolytic corrosion of metal towers and fittings caused by leakage current.
